Dear CT Hockey Members and Friends,

The purpose of this communication is to make everyone aware of an effort that has just gotten underway to "Revitalize Hockey in CT". Several weeks ago I asked Presidents of our member organizations to volunteer to serve on a committee with a charter to incubate ideas on how we can improve and revitalize hockey in CT. This would include exploring new rules, revisiting old rules, looking at organizational structure and considering general ideas put on the table by CHC members.

Once this group has completed their research and analysis, they will report back to the CHC membership with their recommendations and associated rational. These recommendations would then be voted on by full CHC membership for implementation for the 2009 - 2010 season. All of this is being done with the goal of making hockey generally better for our membership and more attractive to potential families currently outside of our CHC membership.

The first committee meeting has been scheduled for the week of November 17th. If you have ideas on how to improve or revitalize hockey in CT, please email the following email address and an email will be forwarded to all committee members: revitalizehockey@chchockey.org
