CHC President Mike Meakem Hello CT Hockey Members and Friends,

On January 10, 2009 we conducted CT Hockey Day at ten rinks across the state. The day was fabulous as we had 333 boys and girls participate in the event. Jackie Pilatti
Connecticut Northern Lights U-16

Jackie started playing hockey four years ago with the boys and this year has found her home with the Northern Lights, not only as a player but also as a coach. Once a week Jackie spends time with the new players and always leaves the rink smiling from the events of the day. Program Director, Southern Connecticut Storm Special Hockey

Debbie may not have any children who play for the Storm hockey team, but that does not stop her from pouring her heart into all aspects of the program, even grant writing! Debbie's passion for the program truly shines through, especially in the great success of the Storm and the entire Storm team. We can truly see the positive contributions Debbie has made in the lives of others and can all learn a lesson on the importance of volunteering from Debbie.
